Morocco Overview

Morocco has a well developed and strong tourist industry which is focused on its coast, its culture and its history. Being political stable (Morocco has a Constitutional Monarchy and an elected Parliament), this makes Morocco the pick of holiday destinations in continental North Africa.

The Country has long been an independent powerful nation in north-east Africa with a history of independence that is not shared by its continental neighbours. It has its own culture which is a mix of Arab, indigenous Berber, sub-Saharan and European influences.

Climatically, the country offers variety from semi-arid dessert to alpine-like mountains to Mediterranean. Essentially the climate is quite similar to California and the southern parts of Spain and Portugal.
